My Sister’s Place: The Clothesline Project

My Sister’s Place will
host this project Sunday, October 28, 2012 – Tuesday, October 30, 2012, on the
National Mall (between 14th street and 12th street) to
commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month as an outlet for survivors to
tell their stories of abuse, despair, hope and empowerment through their own t-shirt
artwork, which will be displayed on a clothesline held by advocates and
