Public Interest Speed Networking Event - Tuesday, Sept. 15

Five WCL Students Named EJW Summer Corps Fellows

The Equal Justice Works Summer Corps program engages law students around the country who are expanding the delivery of legal services to those who need it most. Summer Corps is an AmeriCorps-funded program that provides students an opportunity to earn a $1,000 education award voucher for dedicating their summer to a qualifying legal project at a nonprofit public interest organization. The WCL Office of Public Interest (OPI) educates law students about their professional responsibility to perform public service work as practicing attorneys, fostering a lifelong commitment to public service. This blog serves as a conduit between OPI and the WCL community, with up-to-date news and commentary about public interest activities and hot topics in the profession. Blog posts will provide information on employment opportunities, pro bono projects, fellowships, financing a public interest career, and upcoming events.
