What is CCA?
CCA stands for Cisco Clean Access. Cisco Clean Access is a system that ensures that computers are up to date on patches, are running anti-virus and anti-spyware software, and have firewall software enabled. The system also creates a record of your computers unique network identifier and your user name so that IT can contact you if there is a problem with you machine (such as a virus infection or if the machine has been hacked) and its network access must be restricted. This is to help prevent the spread of viruses, trojans and spyware which damage software and cause networking problems on large networks such as ours.
