Ethical Issues in Commercial and Investment Arbitration

The conference will discuss issues related to the ethical conduct of parties, counsel and arbitrators in international arbitration. LL.M. International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition
March 9-10, 2012 
The competition provides an opportunity for LL.M. students to benefit from the moot format, as most of them are licensed to practice law in certain jurisdictions and therefore are ineligible to compete in most moot competitions. Registration for the event is now closed since all slots available have been filled. Our three-week intensive program is designed to provide practitioners critical skills training in international commercial arbitration -- and you can also earn 12 CLE credits per course.

Competencia Internacional de Arbitraje Comercial

WCL will host the Fifth International Commercial Arbitration Competition from September 27 to October 1, 2012. Ninth Annual Seminar on International Commercial Arbitration: How to Handle a BIT Arbitration
October 2-4, 2012
This three-day intensive seminar based on a mock arbitration case will provide critical skills and practical insight into handling BIT arbitration cases primarily under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Through dynamic interactive lectures and scenario-based exercises, participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups in constant debate with international experts and will be taught skills, strategies, and tactics for successfully conducting a BIT arbitration. Seventh Annual Lecture on International Commercial Arbitration
