Understanding Damages and Compensation in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration
September 26 and 27, 2013, 6 pm – 9 pm

This seminar led by Leonardo R. Giacchino, Ph.D., Partner at Solutions Economics, LLC, and Boris J. Steffen, MM, CPA, ASA, ABV, CDBV, Managing Director at Gavin Solmonese, is designed to help legal practitioners navigate the economic, financial and accounting aspects of an arbitration. Speakers will present valuation topics in a practical and non-technical manner, guiding the participants through case scenarios to teach economic, financial and accounting concepts and principles in International arbitration. Tenth Annual Seminar on International Commercial Arbitration: How to Handle Oil and Gas Industry Cases
October 23 - 25, 2013, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The seminar will feature a mock case that will be discussed mainly from the perspective of the ICC Rules of Arbitration. Arbitration Brief

The third issue of the International Commercial Arbitration Brief has been released. The Arbitration Brief is a student publication of the Washington College of Law produced with the assistance of the Center for International Commercial Arbitration.

The Brief has recently evolved from the strong foundation laid by the International Commercial Arbitration Brief to include all avenues of arbitration. With an expanded scope, The Arbitration Brief strives to cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from domestic employment arbitration to international investment disputes.
