Housing Information

The International Arbitration Program does not provide housing for Summer Program participants. However, there are a number of places participants can look to find housing. We have assembled a hotel guide to help you with finding your accommodations in Washington , D.C. Please click here.

Dormitory option:
Participants of the International Arbitration summer session have the option to stay in the American University dormitory at Anderson or Letts Halll, which feature the popular and convenient suite-style rooms (two double rooms sharing one bathroom). The residence hall front desk will be staffed on a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week basis for security.

Fees
Rates for the Summer 2008 are as follows:

Double room $262.00 per person per week

Single room $314.00 per week.

Both rates include linens. Students can pay for housing with a credit card or check. No cash will be accepted. Payment can be done online, during or before arrival.

How to apply:
To apply for on campus housing at American University, please go to the American University housing registration page. On the right hand side click on "Apply Now." This will take you to the terms and conditions which you must read carefully. At the bottom of the page, you will choose CONFERENCE GROUPS as your status from the drop down menu. Click "I agree" and proceed to the Application Form. Under the "Organization Name" category, please select "International Arbitration/Environmental Law" and proceed with your application.
