Admission to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court
WCL assists interested alumni to apply for admission to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. The next group swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for November 17, 2008.
To apply for admission, please fill out an application and return to WCL, Office of Development & Alumni Relations, Suite 373, 4801 Massachusetts Ave., N. W. Washington, DC 20016. Please also include:
- A certificate in good standing from the highest court of the state or commonwealth in which you are a member ñ STATE BAR CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- A check for $200 made out to the United States Supreme Court. This is a Court charged fee and therefore non-negotiable (sent to WCL). The check will not be cashed until one month before the ceremony.
- Two signatures of sponsors who are already members of the Supreme Court Bar. (WCL can provide these sponsors if you are unable to do so.)
