WCL Reunion: October 17-18, 2008

Mark your calendar!

Hello. I wanted to send you an update of the progress on your reunion which is scheduled for October 17 and 18, 2008.

Friday, October 17 will feature an “Open House” at WCL from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. We hope to have reunion alumni, faculty, staff and students from several affinity-based groups (for instance Public Interest, Clinics, Law Review, Legal Analysis Study Group and many more!). The school will be divided into separate “affinity” receptions. You can attend one or many, depending on your interests.

Saturday, October 18 will feature class dinners (location tba) followed by a mass dessert buffet and remarks by Dean Grossman. Afterward we will identify some locations for those of you who would like some after dinner receptions.

The reunion web pages are up and the reunion@wcl.american.edu email is active. Take a look at the pages at www.wcl.american.edu/alumni/reunion. Tell us who your favorite professors were and who you want to see! Suggestions are encouraged and welcome!

The new online community launched a few weeks ago and there is a reunion group that you can join, as well as groups for each individual reunion class. Join the community and find your classmates! Register today at www.wcl.american.edu/alumni and click on the register blue button, or go directly to the InCircle page at www.wcl.affinitycircles.com. All you need is your full name and your AU ID. Let me know if you need your ID number.

We have a great committee working on these events, but we still need assistance from the early classes – 1958 – 1973. If you can help, please email alumni@wcl.american.edu.

Registration will be available starting in June. For now, please save the date and plan to join us! And help spread the word!

Thank you.
