Getting Involved

The staff at the Office of Development and Alumni Relations makes every effort to ensure that WCL alumni are as active with the law school as they choose to be. Some of the many ways in which alumni can become involved with the Washington College of Law include:

  • Attend an Event or Conference

    A great way to stay involved with Washington College of Law and reconnect to fellow graduates is to attend one of your alumni events. Check out the calendar of events to see what is happening in your area.   • Become a Mentor

    Volunteer to serve as a mentor to current students or other alumni. This program gives alumni an opportunity to share with current students their own professional experience and offer guidance to those looking to enter their specific field of law.   • Participate in On-Campus Interviewing

    Represent your firm or organization in the WCL On-Campus Interview Program by interviewing future WCL graduates. For more information, please contact the Office of Career & Professional Development.

  • Join Your Class Reunion Committee

    Celebrating your reunion is a milestone that shouldn't be missed! Help your class plan their big weekend by being a part of the reunion committee. For more information on volunteering, please contact Shelly Horn at 202-274-4183 or alumni@wcl.american.edu.

  • Help Plan a Regional Event

    Each year we strive to build our regional program by hosting more events for alumni all over the country. With each event, we hope to strengthen our WCL community; reconnecting alumni with WCL and, most importantly, with one another.
