Richard S. Levick

Mr. Levick is a 1987 graduate of the Washington College of Law and a participant in the clinical program.

He is the Chairman and CEO of LEVICK, a high-stakes communications firm based in Washington, DC. The firm works at the nexus of corporate reputation management, brand building, financial communications, and public affairs, directing integrated communications campaigns in global matters for companies, financial institutions, countries, and organizations. LEVICK has managed communications surrounding many thousands of legal matters, lawsuits, and crises.

Mr. Levick is a frequent commentator on radio and television on high-profile cases. He and his firm have published several books, including The Communicators: Leadership in the Age of Crisis; Stop the Presses: The Litigation PR Desk Reference; and 365 Marketing Solutions. Among his many honorifics, he was named “Public Relations Professional of the Year for US Agencies" by PR News. In 2008 he generously endowed the Richard S. Levick Annual Lecture in Crisis Communication and International Law (www.wcl.american.edu/go/levick).
