Lou Dubin

Mr. Dubin is a 1987 graduate of the Law School.

In 2008 he founded LMD Worldwide, an opportunistic real estate inventement company focused on the acquisition of failed and/or failing FDIC insured banks, FDIC loan portofolios in receivership and other distressed real estate opportunities, of which he is President and CEO. Among LMD's successes is the successful conclusion ot a major international strategic real estate advisory with Sibir Energy, Plc, a vertically integrated energy company in connection with its potential owenerhsip of twelve million square feet of property and real estate development projects in cities such as Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia. Prior to LMD Worldwide, Mr. Dubin was President and CEO of Athena Group LLC, a national real estate investment and development company.

Mr. Dubin is a member of the Real Estate Advisory Committee of New York State Common Retirement Fund. He is a trustee and Co-Chairman of the Building Committee of the Hewitt School, New York City. Mr Dubin is also a House Committee member of Temple Emanu-el, a Board Member of the Kaufman Center of New York City, Lincoln Center Institute of Arts in Education, and of Town Tennis Member Club, New York City. He has participated in several interviews, lectures, and panel discussions with organizations such as the Bank of Japan, Commercial Property News, the House Banking Committee, the National Advisory Board, the Senate Banking Committee, and the Urban Land Institute. He is the recipient of awards including the 2009 Lincoln Center Institute Annual Benefit Gala Honoree, the 2008 Americas Property Award, Best High-Rise Architecture, USA, and the 2003 Corporate Leadership Award, Kaufman Center.
