2009 Graduating Class Gift
EVERY GIFT COUNTS!
The Class of 2009 faces a great challenge - last year's Class of 2008 set a new Graduating Class Gift record with 35% class participation!
The Graduating Class Gift program is a student-led campaign to raise money for Washington College of Law. The Class Gift enables students to; come together as a graduating class for the first time, to contribute to the areas and programs for which they feel the strongest connections, to show their gratitude for their legal education and to assist WCL in remaining a competitive, top-tier law school.
The success of the Graduating Class Gift relies on volunteers leading the effort. Students from both the day full-time program and the evening part-time program are encouraged to serve on the committee as well as contribute toward the gift. Staffing the gift table in the lobby of WCL and assisting with marketing efforts are essential to having a successful campaign. If you would like to join the committee, please contact one of the members listed below.

The first Graduating Class Gift program was started in 1997. This small group of students wanted to give back to WCL in honor of their graduation and has continued to grow each year since. The success of each Class Gift program is measured by the number of students who participate and not by the total dollars raised. Therefore, every gift counts!
You can designate your gift to any area of WCL including; journals, clinics, scholarships, PILRAP, etc. You can give your gift In Honor of a living person or In Memory of someone who is deceased. You can also give your gift In Appreciation of someone, whether a great professor, an important classmate or your favorite shuttle bus driver.
Your generous contribution will be recognized in two ways; first, your name will appear on the Graduating Class Gift webpage, and second, your name will be listed in the 2008 - 2009 Honor Roll of Donors publication, which is mailed to many WCL alumni each fall.
