Xuqiong He
SJD Candidate
Xuqiong He is an SJD Candidate at the American University Washington College of Law. Her doctoral research focuses on the reform of the administrative reconsideration system in China. Based on the revision of the Administrative Reconsideration Law, the dissertation will investigate why and how administrative reconsideration could be a main channel for resolving administrative disputes.
Before joining the SJD program, she worked as an assistant legal counsel at the Sino-Singapore joint venture. She gained experience in rule-making as a student research assistant during her graduate studies at Law School Jinan University. The team that she worked for provided suggestions and drafted the rules for the government, most of which were accepted. And she interned as the first student clerk in the Administrative Court, Guangzhou Railway Transport Intermediate People’s Court. She is a member of the Bar of the People’s Republic of China.
