Shalala's study attempts to identify the causes of the United States semiconductor legislation and policy, their impact on the global semiconductor supply chain, export and import control, and discuss the rule of international law. The issue of semiconductor production and value chains will be considered in the broader context of global trends in international economic relations and economic security.
